Pompeii

The ruins of Pompeii were super interesting, and to guide us through them, we used a Rick Steves online walking tour, which worked pretty good. The whole site was cool, but our favourite parts were the bodies, the baths, the ancient fast-food place, the Temple of Isis, and the freshly squeezed frozen orange juice. To get to the town of Pompei, we walked from where we were staying in Terzigno, which took us about an hour because we weren't exactly sure of the route to take. What we found interesting on this walk, was that the non-tourist part of Pompei, is just as ghetto as Terzigno is (see previous post), which the usual [smarter] traveler to the ruins of Pompeii would never suspect or see.
