While we only stayed two nights in Venice, the visit was short but sweet. The city is obviously like none other, and is very beautiful. It is also very confusing, we got lost on its narrow, winding streets multiple times daily, but this just added to the fun. Said streets are catered to tourists; every store is either a luxury boutique, a souvenir shop, or an eatery. Plus, you can't seem to go 5 minutes without running into pirates offering you a knock-off item (but it seems that's true for all European cities). Though its beauty, uniqueness, and car-free environment come at a high cost; as it's Italy's most expensive city, a single water bus ticket cost us 7.5 euro each, among other high prices. For this reason, a shorter stay was ideal. Include are various pictures of around the city and a video of a man singing to a couple on a gondola. The video quality is as if it was filmed with a toaster, so for that I apologize.
