Corfu, Greece

After our bogus adventure in Bari, we took a ferry to the Greek port of Igoumenitsa which took 10hrs, yet only cost us 12 euro thanks to our Eurail Passes, and from there jumped on an 1.5hr ferry to the Island of Corfu. On Corfu, we stayed at this rad hostel called The Pink Palace, which offered a bunch of activities, as well as had an included three course meal every night plus breakfast. With the PP, we went on a Quad Safari and a Corfu Town tour, which were both stellar. On our own, we went to The Museum of Asian Art in Corfu Town, the cities Old Fort (it's got a new one too, but we didn't go to it), explored the countryside close to the PP, as well as go to a few beaches. Also on Corfu, we saw the nuttiest electrical storm ever, but, along with many other videos we took on the island, we will have to upload once we're home with a stable internet connection. Something interesting we found was how different Corfu was to the other Greek Islands we have now seen. From the landscape, which was quite green like home; to the culture, probably due to the heavy British presence, of the past and still today. In the end, we were both sad to say goodbye to Corfu and The Pink Palace plus it's awesome staff.
